The Buddha Statue-Buddha Hill
Lord Buddha Darshan and spectacular aerial views of the city.
Chandor • South Goa
Description
Hilltop Lord Buddha Darshan and spectacular aerial views of the city can be found close to Nagesh Love Forest, which is also a great place to go trekking, rock climbing, or viewing waterfalls. Our hiking trail is 5 kilometres long and ascends to an altitude of 250 metres. Picnics with friends, family, coworkers, members of a club, community group, school field trips, etc.
STATUARY OF THE BUDDHA IN GOA Buddha Hill Trek is a must for anyone who enjoys the outdoors, particularly hiking and climbing, and who would also appreciate a breathtaking bird's-eye view of the surrounding villages. The white Buddha statue, however, is perched precariously on the edge of a massive, somewhat sloppy rock. The area is heavily barricaded, which is a good safety measure. Even though it seems brand new, quite a few people have been to this location already. There appears to be a considerable amount of work still to do. Nagesh Eco Ventures is responsible for this endeavour.
The 250-meter summit is another 1.5 kilometres of hiking. Enjoyable for large gatherings such as families, clubs, and even field trips from schools.
