This is considered as one of the beautiful places in Goa. This place is full of greenery and also one of the best places for good pictures. This beach is 61.1 km from Panjim and 19 km from Margao. The best way to get around Cabo de Rama is by hiring a car which is easily available on the Goa app.
This place looks even more beautiful during rains.
If you are with a group of friends, especially during monsoons, travelling by a bike is more fun and convenient. If not there options like 4 wheelers or taxis.
One can try various water sports like snorkeling, parasailing, paragliding, banana rides and so on.
This beach has a fort commonly known as the Cabo de Rama fort which was claimed by the Portuguese after defeating the King of Soonda, and renovated it. This fort presently has old cannons which were left by the portuguese.
Inside the fort there is a small church which is still used by people. Once you reach the top of the fort you will see the whole beach which is a pleasant scene and is also the best spot for pictures.
This fort is also said to be haunted. Nobody knows how far it’s true though!
There are a quite few shacks here which are not that far, so once you are done with having a beach time you can quickly grab a bite at the nearby shack.
