The Odxel Beach is a small beach with relaxing and positive surroundings. Lying at the center of Dona Paula and Bambolim.
The Odxel Beach is a very small sea beach approximately 250 m in length but is very pleasant and quiet. The model is located between Dona Paula and Bambolim just before Goa University and is a favorable picnic spot for the local people and not known on the map. Odxel Beach is not favorable to swim as there are a lot of rocks and current. The beach offers a quiet and peaceful place to just relax and feel the sea breezes. The locals are quite friendly too. A picnic spot favored by the locals.
Odxel Beach is located at a distance of 11 km from Panjim, can be reached through a cab and Rental bike. Near Odxel Beach there is a Portuguese Catholic chapel located at the right-hand position. This church is the pilgrimage tourism spot in this region. The chapel caters to the local Catholic population in the village. There is also a shrine of Mother Mary. There are no shacks and vendors near the beach, the beach is always quiet and calm. Raj Bhavan is situated at Dona Paula not very far from here. It is also home to a historic British war graves cemetery. One can visit the Governor's Palace after obtaining prior permission. The National Institute of Oceanography is situated here. Not too far from here lie the Goa University and the International Centre Goa.
