Description
The best part of the tours is the tasty and spicy food that is offered to the guests while on the tour. It is the only place in Goa where you can enjoy the experience of giving a bath to an elephant!
Situated in the languid forest lands of Curti in Ponda, Sahakari Spice Farm is in fact a repository of fresthe h spices, cashews, medicinal herbs, and plants as well as fresh flowering shrubs. As you walk along with the guide, you will be able to witness a whole range of goodness that flows into every meal of yours. The Goan lunch on offer is also another meal to die for and gives you the option of choosing veg as well as non-veg options.
The Sahakari Spice Farm Goa opens every day at 9 am and closes at 4:30 PM in the evening. Anytime between October to March is the best time to visit this place, but the Monsoon months between June and September totally change the picture of the environment of the spice farm to lush green and fresh. However, summer months between April and Early June are not advisable for a visit to Goa as the state experiences scorching heat during these months, which can mar your experience.
