Quiet and calm beach, Vagator is one of the best beaches in Goa. it is beautifully set amidst the cliffs with soft and white sand and is perfect for relaxing.


a curved stretch of sand overlooked by the Chapora Fort, you will find a lot of activities occurring simultaneously. Decent-sized bars serve food & drinks, vendors sell refreshing coconut water. The beach is dotted with a hillock on one side & headland on the other. Vagator beach is located at a distance of 21 km from Mapusa in north Goa, it is situated at the end of the Sinquerim, Candolim, Calangute, Baga & Anjuna stretch, and is separated from Morjim by the Chapora River. The beach itself is divided into two parts, Big Vagator & Little Vagator. 


November to March is the best time to visit Vagator Beach when the weather is pleasant & the temperature of the water is just right for enjoying the various water sports like Banana rides, Jetskiing, Speed boats & Parasailing. There are many hotels and restaurants offering delicious seafood and Goan dishes. This place is developed with many restaurants, pubs band nightclubs along the main road. Some popular party venues like 'Hill-Top' and 'Nine Bar' surround Vagator beach. There are several hotels, resorts & guesthouses located in close proximity where you can enjoy a stay like The Orange House, La Gulls Court. Don't forget the enjoy the beautiful sunset at Vagator beach.
