The Varca beach is absolutely a natural phenomenon and a place that attracts many tourists with its natural beauty. It is a 2-kilometer long white sandy beach in south Goa, lined with palm and casuarina trees. Varca beach is situated at a distance of 41 km from Panjim and 12 km from Margao.
The best time for visiting Varca beach is between November and February. The weather is cool, and the humidity is low at this time of the year. Some interesting activities one can partake in at Varca Beach include the boat trips to watch the rare species of dolphins, more known as Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins on the river Sal, watersports activities like water skiing, jet skiing, and windsurfing. Additionally, various beach shacks lined up around the Varca coastline, where you can enjoy a drink along with tasty authentic Goan cuisine. Also, several luxury resorts, private villas, and hotels are surrounding the Varca beach, such as Club Mahindra, Ramada, and Sterling.
